Opening in 1973, SeaWorld has transformed from an aquarium to the huge resort it is today adding thrills with education. SeaWorld not only provides entertainment for families, they also take pride in rescuing and promoting wildlife conservation. Residing in the park is Shamu, the park's icon. The killer whale has been a staple of SeaWorld since it opened and is recognizable through out the world.

In 2000, Discovery Cove opened and offered guests an up close and intimate look at marine life. What makes this park unique is that only a thousand people a day are present at any one time. At this exclusive park, guests can swim with dolphins, fish, sharks, and rays.

In 2008, SeaWorld opened its doors to Aquatica. In this colorful waterpark, guests can relax in a lazy river, swim in a wave pool and slide down bright colored slides. The signature attraction at this Austrailian and New Zealand themed water park is a slide that takes guests into the tank of real life Commerson's dolphins as they swim by.
