If you've never been to Disney for New Years Eve or the Fourth of July, you don't know crowded. Disney security and management were everywhere, even outside of the parks. Some managers were even out in the middle of the street in front of the Transportation and Ticket Center to help with traffic. It was a very busy night, but as long as you didn't have plans to ride everything it was an enjoyable night.
Security was out everywhere to make sure people weren't parking where they shouldn't be parking. Some people were trying to park at the Polynesian and were getting turned away. The Wedding Pavilion was guarded and no one was allowed to park there without good reason.
We ended up having to
park at the TTC for the first time in months.

Cones were everywhere!

At the TTC there was a new food stand set up. I rarely park at the TTC so I don't know if this is up throughout the entire summer or only for the Fourth of July. I know for New Years there were quite a few people watching the fireworks from the TTC, so this could have been set up for the people
watching fireworks from this location.

The monorail line was long so we decided to take the ferry boat.

The island in the middle of the lake was being used again for fireworks. In addition to the fireworks launched behind the Magic Kingdom, they often shoot them from this island for special occasions.

The Contemporary's new building has reached its highest point.

They had the seating area blocked off and only allowed those with food to come inside and sit down. This was obviously to prevent people from camping out to watch the fireworks and taking up tables. Smart move.
