Disneyhead and I took a helicopter over Islands of Adventure today. We'd like to thank Air Florida Helicopter Charters and pilot Chad Browning for a wonderful tour around Universal. Just a shame the weather was dready. Anywho, there will be 2 differents posts. This post contains pictures from Disneyhead's camera, the next post will be pics taken from mine. For being in the same helicopter, we sure did get a lot of different vantage points. Enjoy!

Great idea and pictures! You really had everyone fooled with the Slingshot story. The helicopter shots really give you a great idea of how far the project has actually come along.

Great pics Brian it is amazing what 200+ pics taken in less than 4 mins will include.

And I must admit, there is NOTHING like having them remove the doors and hangin out of a helicopter at 800+ feet. You guys think The Hulk is an E-Ticket. Try a doorless Helicopter on a windy day. Briman LOVED it. WHOOT!!!

On the last three pics of Disneyhead's set makes it looks like there's a tunnel into the mountain from the bridge, and that it gous under the courtyard, where there's a hole in the floor. I know it's probably wrong and very optimistic, but maybe this breathes some like into the "being able to go up there" theory.

Universal has hated me for a while now. Ever since the great Nassal Co pics posted on another site back in the summer. I am hoping they will put me on staff just to shut me up. I mean, seriously, My job is to find out what I'm not supposed to know, take pics of it and then tell the world about it. Unfortunately My professional job doiesn't have a clue how good at it I am. If Uni doesn't do it there is always Disney and the Fantasyland Project.

wow i don't know what to say.....WOW! You guys are insane!! lol...amazing pics.... now for briman and disney since you have a first view of this park now above and beyond all of us, lol... hows it look as far as progress? lokos like a lot of work is left for this park...do you see anything prior to may for opening? early feruary i guess, looks like those scaffolds on the front houses are done just looks like painting.. but wow... i just don't know what to say... ahhh. Those pictures are AMAZING! I think Zonkos is my favorite shop. The red windows really brighten the street up. Do you think they will have people in the windows above the stores. There are actors above the New York set shops in Universal Studios. I am sure you could see a husband and wife wizards quarreling about their son, dark magic. It would be a nice touch!
