you know, i was looking at the model wondering how they could possibly queue anyone through the place, even the lower floors. i also noticed that it's essentially two units and wondered if maybe there would be a walk though one and not the other. i'm thinking there will be theming where you walk under.

i wonder if they will make it anything like you are walking through the doors at hogwarts, even though technically the "doors" seem to be above where the entrance to the ride is.. i was kinda hoping to walk through the doors....

On another point... I watched Order of the Phoenix for the first time tonight. I have no idea why, but hogwarts was in fact drastically changed from the previous 4 films. And slap me twice... a courtyard appears in front of the great hall! This was not the case in the previous films. As the scene had no point in the story (it was just a glorious fly in shot), I wonder why the film makers would make such dramatic changes to the hogwarts layout.

Regardless, now I know where the courtyard in front of the great hall came from...

Entrance to the cliffs of hogwarts. Someone please provide the links to all of the concept art. I am too tired.

Teebin is right. This is true for many theme park attractions. Have you ever seen the backside of Expedition Everest? Splash Mountain? The illusion of theme park attractions only exist within the theme park itself. You have to understand that these things are treated the same as movie sets. Warner Bros. did not build a entire Hogwarts castle for the movies. They built sets and they pull everything else together with CGI. Anything beyond would be wasted money. The same goes for Forbidden Journey. The castle is just a facade; albeit, a beautiful facade. Once the attraction is open, guests will fully believe they are inside Hogwarts castle. And this is what we call theme park magic.

Just finished watching the video and noticed a few things.

Flight of the Hippogriff
-"Centered around the Care of Magical Creatures Class"
-"Before you get on the ride you have to learn how to properly approach the hippogriff"
-"Hagrid gives everyone instructions before they get on how to behave"
-"The ride is going to go past Hagrid's hut and past the hippogriffs"

Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey
-"The ride is essentially a condensed form of the chaos of Harry's life"
-"It will incorporate the best moments from all of the films"
-"The queue has lots of moving portraits"
-"Queue will feature the Defense Against the Dark Arts room, Common Room, Great Hall"
-"Ride has a lifesize Whomping Willow."
