Last month we went to Magic Kingdom for a little family vacation and we all decided to get the Play 3 day $99 pass and my dad decided he wont be using the extra 2 days on his pass and was wondering since it will be a waste to dispose it would another family member be able to use his pass even though it still has 2 extra days left?

Nope. Tickets are non-transferrable once they've been used.
