    Fat Tuesdays

    The bar is scheduled to open this year. They have started on construction. The following is from a press release that was sent a month back

    Fat Tuesday, best known for its signature frozen daiquiris, will open in February 2010 and will be located on the upper level, as well, in between Pat O’Brien’s and the groove. It will be open to guests from 5 p.m. to 2 a.m.

    I used to be a big fan of the Hurricane's too. I think I just got bored with it and switched over to Octanes.

    Is this an extension of Pat O'briens or is this an entirely seperate bar? Seems weird to put two similar themed places right next to each other.

    I stopped by for a drink last night. They are $7, or with a souvenir mug for $10 but with $6 refills. They also were happy to give out samples. You can get an extra shot on top for $1 and can mix & match different flavors for the same price. Excellent drinks - recommended! This will be big this summer! Opens at 2pm.
