I guess it's the extra theming that's really going to make this take a while, I guess, because they could easily open it in January if they keep this up.

Yep. I'm guessing that they could start out with a "soft" opening in late March if they get the themeing done pretty fast, with an official opening some time in April.
I'm pretty sure that they've still got a lot to do inside the aquarium/queue, so that's going to take a while to complete. Plus, all of the exterior themeing, foliage, splashdown pool, and shops that they have planned.

Thanks for the welcome, by the way. I'll try to post here often, but I spend most of my time over at the Atari RollerCoaster Tycoon forums. ;)

We didn't notice this until today, but the wall now says "Summer 2009" instead of Spring.

I bet this could be opened right now and people would love it, so that theming better be amazing since they've got so much extra time on their hands. I love me some stingrays, so hopefully the tank area (where's it being implemented, BTW?) will be great too.

They must have delayed it maybe because of inspections and stuff, since there is gonna be marine life in the queue.

Thanks for the pics Angela/Jason! It does look like you could ride it today though, there must be some big time work ahead. It does make a nice advertisement though for all the guests in and around the park to come back this summer.

You know I kept telling Jason that I wasn't Angela. He kept trying to hold my hand the whole time while we were in the SkyTower. I guess it's a romantic view for him.. ;) All I wanted to do was take the pics, and he just wanted some play. He really missed Angela that day.
