News Electric Light Orchestra to perform at Epcot

    From the Orlando Sentinel:
The Orchestra, a six-piece band that features two alumni from the Electric Light Orchestra, will be in concert at Epcot on three times on Friday, Feb. 25. Showtimes will be 5:15 p.m., 6:30 p.m. and 7:45 p.m. at the America Gardens Theatre in the theme park's World Showcase.

This certainly has the scent of Flower Power, the concert series held in conjunction with the Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival, but that event starts five days after the Orchestra's appearance.

The concerts are included in regular Epcot admission.

The former ELO members performing are Mik Kaminski (the famous "Blue Violin") and keyboardist Louis Clark. The other four members Eric Troyer, Phil Bates, Gordon Townsend and Glen Burtnik were part of ELO Part II.

2 of the original members and four other members from ELO Part II. "The former ELO members performing are Mik Kaminski (the famous "Blue Violin") and keyboardist Louis Clark. The other four members Eric Troyer, Phil Bates, Gordon Townsend and Glen Burtnik were part of ELO Part II. "

    Pretty confusing.
