I assume if this had a thread already I would know. Its a shame the first season didn't get a thread, especially after over 85 game of the year awards. Better late than never.

The single episode is positioned as a link between season 1 and the upcoming season 2.
Among the many revelations of E3 was the announcement of unexpected new episode of Telltale's extremely successful 'The Walking Dead' game. Previously, it had seemed that until season 2 was ready, there would be no new content, but clearly Telltale has found a solution.

From Telltale, "Centered on a truck stop on a Georgia highway, 'The Walking Dead - 400 Days' is a DLC episode for Season One of Telltale's award-winning game series. 400 Days tells five linked stories; each taking place at different points in time and from the point of view of a different survivor from day one of the united apocalypse to day 400. The five stories can be played in any order and will change based on hte choices that you make. Echoes of the choices you made in Season 1 will carry over into 400 Days and the choices you make in 400 Days will resonate into Season 2."
Trim brakes coming to Space Mountain during upcoming refurbishment? Jun 12, 2013 | 1:17pm EDT
We reported yesterday that the Magic Kingdom's Space Mountain coaster will be closing during periods of September for refurbishment and we now have a little more information on what work is expected to be done.
It appears that at least part of the work will involve trim brakes being added along the track with the aim of reducing the speed during parts of the ride. The exact reasons for this are not clear, but typically trim brakes are added for safety purposes, to reduce g-forces, or to reduce wear and tear on the track and vehicles.

Well he is only 2 months from being 5, but he is 4 none the less. He rode everything he could ride except Rip Saw Falls, Jurassic and T2 (T2 was my choice for him not to do). He had a blast. Loved everything, even though Spiderman gave him a little scare for some reason. It is even more strange since he loved Transformers. That being said, he is the absolutely youngest age I would take. There was only 6 rides, that I can think of off the top of my head, that he couldn't do.

Now since I haven't visited since you parked where City Walk now stands, I have a few notes and observations:

Change the name of the Jaws and Kong parking and pump some music in there. Every other section seemed to have music but those two.

Citywalk: Cool Place. Nice atmosphere and looks like it could be a lot of fun, especially back in my college days. That being said, not much to do family wise except eat and shop. I think they need to build a way to go around the place. Not only do you have to hike a mile from the parking garage to the parks, I feel like I am being forced through a gift shop before I even get to ride.

Island of Adventures: Don't laugh at this statement, but Seuss Landing has got to be one of the best themed lands in all theme parks. From beginning to end it is just like it should be. I will give you that there is not a lot to do and I am sure those of you that don't have kids, just skip over it. Yes, WWOHP is also one of the best themed lands I have seen as well. It just needs to be opened up. It is way to crowded, but it was awesome as well. I would say WWOHP is possibly better themed than Seuss Landing, but Seuss Landing has been around longer and I have a four year old, so it wins.

TO BE CONTINUED..

Quote:

SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment™ announces a multi-park celebration to commemorate a key event in the company’s history. The original SeaWorldŽ park opened its gates for the first time in March 1964 on Mission Bay in San Diego.
SeaWorld’s 50th Celebration will feature a Sea of Surprises™ starting March 21, 2014. SeaWorld parks in San Diego, Orlando and San Antonio will share the excitement throughout an 18-month celebration that highlights some of the most memorable SeaWorld experiences.

For nearly five decades, SeaWorld has surprised and amazed guests with unique entertainment, thrilling rides and up-close encounters with marine animals. During SeaWorld’s 50th Celebration visitors will be invited to take part in the celebration through new interactive experiences, shows and pathway performances, even more up-close animal encounters throughout the park and the SeaWorld “Surprise Squad” treating guests with prizes every day.

Just a few weeks ago, SeaWorld Orlando opened Antarctica: Empire of the Penguin™, an all-new realm that combines 30-degree temperatures, upclose encounters with more than 250 penguins and an all-family adventure ride to create the coldest theme park attraction in Orlando and a thrilling, chilling experience of a lifetime.

SeaWorld Orlando will continue to make news later this year when the park announces what’s new for 2014. Details will be shared this fall.

SeaWorld’s 50th Celebration Sea of Surprises™ Highlights

SeaWorld San Diego will celebrate 50 years with a new interactive entrance plaza. The area will be called Explorer’s Reef™ and will open in March for the celebration kick-off. The 16-month construction project will transform the existing front gate area through sculptural and design elements inspired by waves crashing over a reef, as well as up-close encounters with marine life. The new front gate concept will replace existing ticket booths with a beach-themed, concierge-style ticketing area that will provide guests with a single location to purchase admission, as well as sign up for tours, animal interactions and dining experiences.

From the moment they enter the park, guests can connect with the sea through multiple touch pools featuring shark pups, stingrays and cleaner fish. Explorer’s Reef encompasses more than three acres, including new and innovative retail and culinary opportunities for guests. The multi-million dollar renovation effort will not only make entering the park faster and more efficient, but will significantly enhance the arrival experience.

As part of SeaWorld’s 50th Celebration, there will be more surprise encounters with animal ambassadors throughout the day. A pair of Magellanic penguins, a lemur, or even a parade of flamingos could surprise guests at any moment at all three SeaWorld locations.

What’s a celebration without surprises? The SeaWorld “Surprise Squad” will roam the SeaWorld parks giving away prizes and special gifts. Guests could receive exclusive access to rides or behind-the-scenes experiences, celebration t-shirts or Shamu-themed merchandise, reserved show seating and more.

SeaWorld is known for amazing animal shows and each park will have something new for the 50th celebration. Even park pathways will come to life with spontaneous entertainment at unexpected moments, including performers with sea-inspired costumes and props, a bubble brigade and splash mob.

To underscore SeaWorld’s commitment to the environment and passion for protecting the ocean, a series of giant sea life sculptures will be displayed throughout the parks. SeaWorld commissioned environmental art group Washed Ashore for the large-scale art created from ocean debris. The works serve as a reminder that our animal friends need healthy environments.

As part of its continuing commitment to new technology that enhances the guest experience, SeaWorld’s 50th Celebration will include new ways for fans to connect to the parks and each other though digital devices. The parks will be launching a variety of enhancements, from interactive apps that provide fun new ways to experience the park to new games and video content.

Our next visit in Orlando will be from october 16.th to october 26.th. I have found a lot of information regarding the crowds at USF and WDW, but I could not find any information about SeaWorld. So I would like to ask you, if SeaWorld ist busy in October and if there are extra busy and quieter days, so that I can plan my trip a littele better.

Only 1 day is already planned: on october 25.th I will be at IoA and celebrating my birthday with a butterbeer.

Thanks for your help!
