We have a lot of great features here. So many, in fact, that some of the best ones get overlooked. I thought I'd take a moment to point out some fun things that our members might not know about.

1. Reputation
Reputation is more than just if people think you are a bad mamma jamma or not, it's also a fun point system. Some people will use this for determining someones history of credibility, and others may just have fun showing props for a good post. To leave someone reputation points just find the scale icon (http://img255.imageshack.us/img255/42/scalegd2.jpg) in the top right corner of their post. Click it and show them some love. It can even be as simple as "Fo' shizzle!" or "Hell yeah!". You can give reputation points 10 times in a day. If your reputation drops below 10 points you will not be able to give others props until you rise back above 10 points. The more reputation points you have, the higher your Reputation Power and the more points you give others when you give them reputation points. Rep Power = the maximum amount of points you give others when you give them reputation.
Ways to gain Rep Power:
Post 100 Times - You get 1 point of Rep Power for every 100 posts
Stay Active - You get 1 point of Rep Power for every 90 days you are an active member
Receive points - For every 100 points you receive from peers you'll gain 1 point of Rep Power

2. User Rank Bars (http://orlandounited.com/forums/showthread.php?t=5)
Most forums have little stars (also known as pips) that appear under members names that shows their ranking (how many posts, active days, etc.). Other places have a clever name like "Cool Guy", "Total Loser" and "Newcomer". At Orlando United we went one better and EVERYONE has what we call a User Rank Bar under their name. During your stay at Orlando United you will move up the ranks, collecting different User Rank Bars. There are ten total (not counting special Bars that are given) and you can see them all right here (http://orlandounited.com/forums/showthread.php?t=5).

3. New Posts
We realize the forum is a pretty nice size and can be quite intimidating if you aren't familiar with the site. Fortunately in the navigation bar at the top of your page you will see a link that says "New Posts" and it will show you everything that's happened since you last visited.
Also, on the left side of the forum you'll see an indicator telling you when there are new posts in the forum. When there are no new posts it will look like this: http://img412.imageshack.us/img412/4546/forumoldry3.gif When there are new posts it will light up like this: http://img412.imageshack.us/img412/7366/forumneweu5.gif If you want to turn the light off and mark it as "read" just double click the image.

4. Subscribed Threads
Have you ever posted something incredibly cool and then came back later to see all the awesome things people said, only to not be able to find the thread you had posted in? Uh, yeah, me neither, but if that were to happen, all you would need to do is click User CP in the top left corner of the page. By default, if will display every thread you have posted in, but only when there are new posts. That way, you no longer have to search around for your threads or posts. Cool, huh?

5. Currently Active Users
The stalker in us will love this one. If you scroll all the way down to the bottom of the main page you'll see a table titled "What's Going On?". The first thing in that table says "Currently Active Users". Click it and you can see exactly what other users are doing. Creepy, huh?

6. Preview a Thread
If you want to see what a thread might be about without having to click it, just hover your mouse over the thread title and the first sentence of the thread will show up, giving you an idea on what is inside!

7. Who Voted
When making a poll where you want to share who voted for what, look for an option called "Make votes public: Displays all users who voted, and what choice they voted for." in the Misc. section near the bottom. If this option is chosen, the numbers of people who voted on the poll will be in a link form. Click the numbers and it'll show you who voted for what.
