Performer injured at Lights, Motors, Action!

ORLANDO, Fla. -- A Disney cast member has been taken to the hospital after being injured during a stunt show at Disney's Hollywood Studios.

The man was performing in the "Lights, Motors, Action Extreme Stunt Show."

Disney said the man fell 8 feet off a scaffolding and injured his leg, emergency services said.

Emergency services said the injury was minor and the man was taken to the hospital as a non emergency.

The stunt show is a car crash stunt event.

You know what's funny is how "serious" our local news stations treated it. It's a stunt show, accidents are bound to happen. The accident didn't occur due to negligence, but because of the danger that these performers put themselves in to entertain the guests. We were at the parks when it all went down, and 3-4 choppers were circling the area. I swear, you would have thought some serious breaking news was going on.

The bright side to all this is that it wasn't a serious injury.
