The Villains Room at the WoD store at Downtown Disney was recently renovated. Most of the work seems to be just to clear some space and make the area less cluttered. They have also done away with the "Pin Wall". Here are some shots of the new look:

This is actually outside the Villains Room. A Guest Services desk used to be here. Now it seems as if WoD is only devoting a small section to Pins.

Glad that this was done. that room was packed. Especially when they did that pin trading book. Where did they move that to anyway?

Yeah, it was always mobbed and cramped in there. I'm glad it was opened up a bit.

It's funny, when I was there in August I saw the room and it was totally congested... I didn't even bother checking it out because of that. Good thing they fixed it because it was a mess.

I always went in there for the pins. I agree, it gets pretty hard to move!

It looks way better...I have to use a wheelchair for long distances and it was impossible in there so I would just do my best when we went there at night...very glad!!

There are 3 references (Hook, Tink, Croc). Most of the villains have at least 2 references in the room though.

less cluttered = good

last time i was at disney (aug 09) every single room was packed. it was like being general admission at a concert

Yea. Walking into that room now is a lot easier. :lol:

I'm looking forward to seeing Downtown Disney :) I've never taken the opportunity to look around.

Could you tell me, the plushies they sell in there, are they generic or only available there? Do the shopping outlets have disney shops where you can buy the same plushies for cheaper?
