Mark VII Monorail Orange arrives at Disneyland

Still going on testing for the next couple of weeks so if you are going to to go within the first weeks of September you will still see the new red monorail!!


Miss the goat in Big Thunder Mountain Railroad?

Well now you wont have to the goat is back in business and still chewing some dynamite sticks for those passengers that go by!

..The Vineyard Room in Disney's California Adventure to close soon..

..Triton's Gardens and the Ariel Meet and Greet closes..

Yes this is the sad news Yesterday was the last day of operation of the Ariel's Grotto area inside of Disneyland, near the entrance of Tomorrowland, to make room for the new Tinker Bell/Fairies Meet and Greet that is scheduled to open in late October.


The "other" Ariel's Grotto, the Character Dining location in Disney's California Adventure remains open.


This is her last goodbye at around 5:30 pm Sunday evening 8/17/2008

Ah well. I don't really find the grotto closing to be that big of a deal. The new monorails look great, I hope that we will eventually get them in Florida.

Apparently. Probably just someone that set it up, they have one for like every single ride. hehe I add them all for kicks. I like saying I am friends with TTA. :thumbs:
I don't find out too much about Disneyland usually, so I found it kinda neat.

I really hope they don't bring the new monorails over here. The ones we have now are just fine. :)

^Are you kidding? Sorry, but I have seen the monorails in person and been in them, and they are very cool. I'm glad the goat is back. I noticed he was gone on my last trip. Monorail Blue is awesome.

I think the new monorails are amazing as well.
Haven't seen the inside of any, but they look so sleek and classic. I wish we had them actually.

They look awesome. But from what I can remember, wasn't Monorail Red almost all red without all of the white stripes on it likethe new Monorail Blue has?

The new monorails remind of the train on Dumbo at the very end of the movie. lol

I like the new ones. I'd like to see us get them eventually.

I'm definitely not a fan of the ones over in Tokyo [with the mouse heads for windows]. For some reason they just remind me of a subway car. Ew.
