Hello guys and gals, and welcome to first installment of Drew's Top Ten. This article will be a weekly installment here at Orlando United. Every week I will take a topic and give you ten reasons to appreciate, get excited, or just enjoy something that is happening in Orlando. On with the list...

This week's topic is the Top Ten things to look forward to out of Orlando United.

10. The Orlando United Shop.

Insert cheap plug here, but really, if you are out at the park wearing an Orlando United T-Shirt, it makes it that much easier for members of the site to meet one another and have a great time. Get your OU apparel here.

9. Other Attractions/Events in Orlando.

Just because this is a Disney and Universal site doesn't mean we aren't covering other things in Orlando. SeaWorld and many other things to do in the city will be covered as well as other events that may come to Orlando. We plan on helping you know everything there is to do in Orlando so that when you are in town, you are never bored.

8. News.

Orlando United will be covering all there is to cover as far as news is concerned. If there's an update, we'll have it. If something is happening, we will know about, and report it to you as fast as possible. Orlando United will be your one stop destination for everything.

7. A Top Notch Staff.

Sledge, Briman, and Myself have all come from different paths at one time or another and have come with the idea of opening this site. A site intended to bring together fans of two of the theme park monsters into one mega site. The Universal/Disney rivalry is a big one, maybe Yankees-Red Sox-esque, but to some, both are just a source of enjoyment. We hope that this site can bring you all together and you can enjoy the time you spend here and the new people you will meet on the forums and The OUNCE.

6. The OUNCE.

It seems like today everyone is asking each other "Hey, do you have a MySpace or Facebook?" Soon the Universal/Disney community will be asking each other if they have an OUNCE page. The OUNCE is a networking site that lets you connect more directly to other fans of the parks in a MySpace format. If you haven't checked it out yet, do it now, you won't regret it. There's nothing like meeting new people who are into the same things as you are. Check it out.

4&5. Tie. Sledge's Edge and Casa De BriMan.

The two big wigs of Orlando United will have columns that will grab your attention and make you hear what they have to say, or write. We promise to dot the I's.

3. The Forums.

They've been up for a while and we are already happy with the overwhelming response. The forums will continue to grow overtime, but there is only one thing that can help it do that, and this is you, the readers. If you haven't done so yet, sign up over at the forums. We won't bite. We promise. Check it out.

2. O.U.R. Podcast.

In Today's day and age, it seems like every site is getting their own podcast. The O.U.R. podcast will bring you the latest news from Orlando with Hosts Brian and Sledge. We will make sure we do things that are interesting. We won't do things that are just a big waste of time and have nothing to do with the subject at hand… like soda taste tests.

1. All of those and more.

All of the elements that I have just mentioned will be brought together for you, the fans to make up one full and exciting Orlando experience. It doesn't matter if you like Disney, Universal, or anything in between in Orlando, it will be covered here. With a podcast, a forum, our very own version of MySpace/Facebook, and top notch columns, what more could you want? But we're not done yet. We will do everything it takes to ensure that you are fully satisfied with Orlando United. We hope that you enjoy your experience here at Orlando United.
